Service · Our own studio
Product photography in Barcelona
We come from product photography, not from software. So when the material demands it, we do not simulate it: we photograph it. We have our own studio in Barcelona and we handle both the full session and the source shot the whole batch is then produced from.
When real photography is needed
Some materials behave in ways you cannot improvise. Jewellery lives on reflections that depend on the exact position of every light source. Technical fabrics have directional highlights. Sheer textiles need you to see through them and still read the edge. Metallic finishes change colour depending on where the shadows come from.
For all of that, a real shot is faster and more faithful than pushing a generative tool. It is a technical criterion, not a preference: whatever is better solved with a camera gets photographed.
What we do in the studio
- Catalogue packshot on pure white, with naming and per-channel formats.
- Still life and set styling with art direction, for category and campaign.
- Jewellery and small pieces, with fine control over reflection and depth.
- Fabric and texture, macro of material, stitching and finish.
- Source shot for a batch: one real reference the whole generated catalogue then grows from.
The hybrid method, which is the one most people book
The most requested option is not "AI only" or "studio only": it is photographing a real reference and using that image as the basis for generating the rest of the batch. You get the material accuracy only a camera gives and the volume only generative production gives, without paying for a session per SKU.
Reference session
We photograph one or several representative pieces in the studio, with the final lighting.
Art direction
That shot becomes the pattern: framing, colour, shadow and proportion are locked.
Full batch
The remaining SKUs, angles, variants and scenes are produced inheriting that pattern.
Based in Barcelona, working remotely and on site
The base is in Barcelona and that is where we receive products for a session. Everything else — briefing, art direction approval, batch review and delivery — we handle remotely with clients across Spain, the rest of Europe and beyond.
If you are in or near Barcelona, the usual route is that you bring the product and see it set up. If not, it is shipped and returned, or we work straight from your reference photos when the material allows it.
What we need from you
For a session: the pieces, the SKU list and any colour chart or Pantone you use as brand truth. If there is an existing image you like, send that too: it says more than three paragraphs describing it.
For a batch from photos: reasonable reference images. They do not need to be professional, but the product should be clearly visible, with enough light and without aggressive cropping.
Questions about the studio and real photography
Do you also do traditional photography?
Yes. We have our own studio in Barcelona and we come from product photography, not from software. You can book AI production only, the studio session only, or the most common route: we photograph one real reference and use that image as the basis for generating the rest of the batch.
Do I have to bring the product to the studio?
Only if the material requires it: jewellery, technical fabrics, sheer textiles or metallic finishes. In every other case we work remotely from reference photos, even phone shots, from anywhere in the world.
Do you work outside Barcelona?
The studio is in Barcelona, but the work is remote for all of Spain, Europe and international clients. Briefing, art direction approval, review and delivery all happen remotely with no loss of control.
Which is better, photography or AI?
It depends on the material. Anything that depends on reflections, transparency or technical texture is better photographed. Anything that depends on volume, variants and consistency across hundreds of SKUs is better generated. The hybrid method uses each where it wins.
Tell us what you need to photograph.
If it is jewellery, technical fabric, sheer textile or a metallic finish, the right route probably starts in the studio. We look at it with you before proposing anything.
